Webb 'really troubled' by FIFA lifting Balogun ban after Trump's three calls to Infantino

Howard Webb, English football's chief refereeing officer, said he was "really troubled" by FIFA's removal of Folarin Balogun's World Cup red-card ban after US president Donald Trump called FIFA president Gianni Infantino three times to lobby for it. Webb warned that political pressure on a governing body sets a dangerous precedent, and said the process used "seemingly did not exist before the tournament started."
