Demon Hunter sues Netflix and AEG over 'KPop Demon Hunters' trademark

Christian metal band Demon Hunter filed suit in Los Angeles federal court on August 18, 2026, naming Netflix and AEG Presents. The band seeks to block the 'KPop Demon Hunters' name for recorded music, live shows and merchandise, claiming trademark infringement and unfair competition. The film's soundtrack spent two weeks atop the Billboard 200. Netflix and AEG have not publicly responded.
