Netflix developing 'Outer Banks' prequel 'Kildare' from original creative team

Netflix is developing "Kildare," a prequel to "Outer Banks" set 20 years earlier in the parents' generation, exploring the origins of the Pogue-Kook divide. Co-creators Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke are scripting the project, now in formal development under their Netflix overall deal. Netflix declined to comment. No series order, cast or release date has been announced.
