Prime Video films Bloodaxe Season 2 before Season 1 airs

Prime Video has started filming Season 2 of Bloodaxe in Ireland, with five new cast additions announced by Deadline on 19 August 2026. Season 1 will not launch globally until early 2027. The pre-emptive second-season order, first reported by Deadline in summer 2026, commits budget and crew to an MGM Television drama whose audience size remains unknown.
