
Former Fauci Adviser Morens Pleads Guilty to Hiding Covid-Era Government Records
David Morens, 78, a former senior NIAID official and longtime Fauci adviser, pleaded guilty August 18 in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland, to conspiring to evade public records laws and conceal documents tied to Covid-19 grant funding. He used personal email to thwart FOIA requests. Morens faces up to five years in prison at sentencing on November 12.
