Israel's military has ordered a criminal investigation into the January 2024 killing of six-year-old Hind Rajab, her relatives, and two paramedics in Gaza City — its first admission that Israeli forces fired on their vehicle. The IDF had previously denied troops were in the area. The probe also cites failures in coordinating the Red Crescent ambulance sent to rescue Hind, which was then shelled.
