Cardiff sign Leicester lock Tom Manz on season-long loan

Cardiff Rugby have signed Leicester Tigers lock Tom Manz on a season-long loan for the 2026-27 United Rugby Championship. The 6ft 8in, 24-year-old made 10 appearances for Leicester last season. Leicester retained him with a renewed contract in March 2026, so the loan offers regular game time rather than an exit. Head coach Corniel van Zyl called him a "big, physical player."
