Girls Planet 2027 Partners with Republic Collective to Build a Girl Group for the U.S. Market

Mnet's Girls Planet 2027 will partner with Republic Collective to form a girl group targeting the U.S. market — a first for the K-pop competition franchise. Chief producer Kim Sinyoung told Variety it is the biggest difference from previous seasons. CJ ENM said no decision has been made on the group's member count.
