Pogba leaves Monaco after six appearances — three years of bans, surgery and injury behind him

Paul Pogba's Monaco contract, due to run until June 2027, was terminated on 19 August 2026 after one season. He played six matches, five as a substitute. Since returning from a reduced doping ban in March 2025, the 33-year-old has managed just six competitive appearances — his last three years consumed by suspension, knee surgery and recurring soft-tissue injuries.
