Ivo van Hove's five-hour Dutch Angels in America opens at Edinburgh International Festival

Ivo van Hove's Dutch-language Angels in America opened at King's Theatre for the 2026 Edinburgh International Festival, running 15–20 August, tickets from £20. The Internationaal Theater Amsterdam production condenses both parts of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer-winning play into one sitting of approximately 4 hours 55 minutes, with one interval.
