Only person ever charged in Tupac Shakur's 1996 killing faces life sentence at Las Vegas trial

Duane "Keffe D" Davis, 63, is the only person ever charged in connection with Tupac Shakur's 1996 killing. Davis has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder with use of a deadly weapon in Clark County, Nevada. Prosecutors allege he procured the weapon and directed the shooting carried out by his nephew Orlando Anderson. If convicted, Davis faces life in prison. The trial began on 18 August 2026 in Las Vegas.
