Jay Worthy launches free 16-bit browser game ahead of George Clinton collaborative album

Jay Worthy released 'P of the Week,' a free 16-bit browser game at poftheweek.com, ahead of 'Generation P,' his collaborative album with George Clinton under the LNDN DRGS name, due 28 August. Designer Kyle Zimmer built the side-scroller — a Super Mario and Streets of Rage mash-up playable as Worthy — to feel like an authentic CRT-monitor experience rather than a modern retro imitation. Billboard reported the release on 19 August.
