David Krumholtz puts acting career on hold: "the profession has lost its gleam"

David Krumholtz, 48, with over 140 credits since the early 1990s, announced on Threads (later deleted) that he is putting his acting career on hold, saying "for me, the profession has lost its gleam" and calling himself "frustrated, fed up, fried." He sent a "definitive email" to make the decision final, but wrote he was "redefining my terms," not quitting (The Hollywood Reporter, 19 August 2026).
