Producer David Heyman signs first-look film deal with Amazon MGM, ending three-decade Warner Bros. run

Deadline reported on 18 August 2026 that Amazon MGM Studios closed a multi-year first-look film deal with David Heyman's Heyday Films, ending a three-decade tenure at Warner Bros. The pact covers scripted, unscripted, live-action and animated films. Heyman's credits include the Harry Potter franchise, Barbie, Wonka and Gravity. The Bond film he is producing for Amazon MGM sits outside the deal.
