DOC NYC to honour Alex Gibney and JT Takagi with Lifetime Achievement awards at 13th edition

DOC NYC announced on 18 August 2026 that Alex Gibney and JT Takagi will receive Lifetime Achievement awards at its 13th edition's Visionaries Tribute this November at Gotham Hall in Manhattan (Deadline). Gibney won an Oscar for "Taxi to the Dark Side"; a Musk documentary heads to Venice. Takagi leads Third World Newsreel and teaches at The New School and CUNY.
