Waypoint–Watch This Ready First-Look Deal Sets Sports-Card Heist Comedy 'The Pull' as First Project

Ken Kao's Waypoint Entertainment has signed a first-look partnership with Watch This Ready, the indie outfit co-founded by Kyle Marvin, Michael Angelo Covino and Emily Korteweg. First film under the deal: 'The Pull', a comedic thriller about a hustler mother in high-value sports cards, written by Zoë Worth, directed by Marvin, developed with Fanatics Studios. The pair previously collaborated on Cannes premiere 'Splitsville', acquired by Neon (Deadline, 2026-08-18).
