Barcelona sign Ballon d'Or winner Rodri from Man City for £65m

Barcelona have signed 2024 Ballon d'Or winner Rodri from Manchester City for around £65m on a four-year contract. The 30-year-old midfielder leaves City after seven seasons, 298 appearances and 12 major honours, including the 2023 Champions League, in which he scored the final's only goal. He returns to La Liga for the first time since leaving Atlético Madrid in 2019. His final two seasons at City were disrupted by injury.
