'Average Joe' creator Robb Cullen signs with Ascend Literary Management ahead of Paramount+ Season 2 debut

Variety reports Ascend Literary Management has signed 'Average Joe' creator and executive producer Robb Cullen for representation. The deal lands one day before the dark comedy's second season debuts on Paramount+ on 19 August — a platform shift from BET+, which launched the series in 2023. Ascend was founded in 2026 by former Gersh TV department head Ian Greenstein. Cullen retains IAG and Yorn Levine as representatives.
