Online Safety Act architect Damian Collins named Chairman of microdrama data firm Screenburn Group

Former UK tech minister Damian Collins, who helped pass the Online Safety Act, has been appointed Chairman of Screenburn Group, a London company building data tools for scripted TV. Its subsidiary CherryBowl tracks over 74,000 microdrama titles and 3.6 million episodes across major platforms — a short-form mobile format traditional ratings have not caught up with. Screenburn is preparing a funding round for autumn 2026.
