Quiver will release the lesbian romance 'Maya & Samar' on U.S. VOD platforms on 4 September 2026, per Deadline. The film stars Nicolette Pearse and Amanda Babaei Vieira as a Canadian journalist and a queer Afghan refugee whose affair unfolds across days in Athens. Anita Doron directs; Robert Lantos produces. The MPA assigned it an NC-17.
