CFDA and Frazier Foundation open third edition of $100,000 Empowered Vision Award for independent Black designers

The Council of Fashion Designers of America and the Andréa W. and Kenneth C. Frazier Family Foundation have launched the third edition of the Empowered Vision Award, a USD 100,000 grant for an independent Black designer. Applications open 1 September; the winner will be named 10 December at a ceremony in New York. Past recipients: Rachel Scott (2024) and Daveed Baptiste (2025).
