Warp Launches Model-Agnostic Platform for AI-Assisted Software Development

Warp introduced Warp Factories on August 18, 2026 — a control plane for deploying AI agents across the software development lifecycle, from triage through verification. It integrates with Slack, Linear, Jira, and GitHub, and works with Codex and Claude Code. Warp targets companies that lack the resources to build bespoke agentic pipelines, as Stripe and Ramp have done internally.
