Madonna received 11 nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, the most of any artist, per Variety (18 Aug 2026). Taylor Swift earned nine. Beyoncé and Swift share the career VMA wins record of 30 each, as of the 2025 ceremony (Reuters). The VMAs air 27 September from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles across CBS, MTV and Paramount+.
