Snips signs first major deals to cut Banijay and BIG Media titles into vertical micro-episodes

Tel Aviv startup Snips has signed its first major content deals with Banijay Rights and BIG Media, per Variety (18 August 2026). Titles including Big Brother, MasterChef and Humans will be cut into 45-second to two-minute vertical episodes for phones. Snips uses its proprietary 'AI Film Director' to edit each title into roughly 60 cliffhanger-ended micro-episodes. Banijay and BIG Media retain IP; Snips shares revenue. The company has 250-plus titles live and targets thousands per year.
