UK schoolchildren invited to stitch the Bayeux Tapestry's missing final panel

Art Explora and English Heritage have launched 'Beyond The Battle', a competition inviting UK primary school classes aged 7–11 to design and stitch the Bayeux Tapestry's lost final panel. The prize is a class trip to see the tapestry at the British Museum in London, where it goes on display from 10 September 2026 to 11 July 2027 on loan from Normandy.
