Christie's to show Bill Blass archive auction in the designer's own Manhattan townhouse

Christie's, the New York auction house, will exhibit 129 pieces from Bill Blass's archive at the late designer's town house at 3 East 44th Street, Manhattan, from 18 to 22 September — a first for a Christie's fashion sale. The online auction, titled "Bill Blass: American Elegance," runs 9 to 23 September and is expected to realise over $150,000. Proceeds go to the Bill Blass company.
