Queen Camilla backs journalism awards: 25 journalists to receive up to £2,500 each

Queen Camilla, patron of the Journalists' Charity — founded by Charles Dickens in 1864 — is backing the new Queen Camilla Future of Journalism Awards. Twenty-five journalists aged 18 to 30 will each receive up to £2,500 towards training, equipment, relocation, accommodation or travel. Applications close at midnight on August 26 at journalistscharity.org.uk/awards. The charity plans to run the scheme annually.
