Fallout 4 Creations update clears all downloaded mods on first launch

Bethesda released a Fallout 4 Creations update on 18 August, delivering what the studio called "general improvements." On first launch after the patch, every player's Creations list is cleared, requiring full re-download. Bethesda advises players to back up save files and manually save their load order before installing, enabling one-click re-download once the update is live.
