Beta Film, ZDF/Arte and Antitalent co-produce 'Red Water' Croatian crime series

Beta Film, ZDF/Arte and Croatian producer Antitalent have struck a three-way co-production deal to adapt Jurica Pavičić's bestselling novel "Red Water" into a six-hour Croatian crime drama. The novel placed on both the Financial Times and Sunday Times top-10 books of 2025 lists. Beta Film handles international sales. Shooting is scheduled for 2027. (Variety, 18 August 2026)
