Dutch Friends Learn DNA Reveals They Are Biological Sisters

Meena Geltink, 43, and Minal Tijssen, 44 — both adopted separately from Indian orphanages into Dutch families about 100 miles apart — were already childhood friends when a DNA test showed they are biological sisters. The discovery reframed an existing bond rather than creating a new one. Geltink called it "like a missing puzzle piece has been found."
