Vin Diesel says Fast Forever starts filming December, lands March 2028

Vin Diesel told Variety at the 25th anniversary screening of The Fast and the Furious that Fast Forever, the 11th and final mainline film, is set to begin filming in December. Universal has booked the finale for theatres on 17 March 2028. Diesel said the project went through four sets of writers and four years of development before a script was ready.
