Fery claws from 1-5 to tiebreak before De Minaur ends Cincinnati run
Britain's Arthur Fery, 24 and seeded 32nd, lost 7-5, 7-6(3) to world No 5 Alex de Minaur in the Cincinnati Open third round on 17 August. Three rain delays stretched the match past two hours. Fery trailed 1-5 in the second set, won five straight games to force a tiebreak — the shootout at 6-6, first-to-seven points — but De Minaur took it 7-3.
