Boehly and Walter exploring sale of Chelsea stakes to majority owner Clearlake

Todd Boehly and Mark Walter are exploring selling their Chelsea stakes to Clearlake Capital, BBC, Telegraph and Bloomberg report. Clearlake already owns 61.5% of the club. A sale would hand the private equity firm full control of Chelsea, bought in a £2.5bn deal in 2022. No decisions have been made, per Bloomberg. All parties declined to comment.
