
Peggy Webber, Last Surviving Actor to Work with Both Welles and Hitchcock, Dies at 100
Peggy Webber, the last surviving actor to have worked with both Orson Welles and Alfred Hitchcock, has died at 100, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. She played Lady Macduff in Welles's 1948 Macbeth and an insurance clerk in Hitchcock's 1956 The Wrong Man. She voiced thousands of radio broadcasts, including Ilsa in a 1944 NBC radio Casablanca. Her son, Rob Sinskey, confirmed the death in Napa, California.
