Hulu's Prison Break Reboot: From Pilot to Straight-to-Series with Original Creator Back

Hulu ordered Elgin James' Prison Break reboot to series in October 2025, ten months after a December 2024 pilot order. 20th Television produces. Original series creator Paul Scheuring and executive producer Dawn Olmstead return in the same roles; James showruns and directs the pilot. The story follows an ex-soldier turned corrections officer, not the original brother-rescue plot. No premiere date is set.
