LIV Golf cancels $40m season-ending Team Championship in Michigan

LIV Golf has cancelled its $40 million season-ending Team Championship in Michigan, the second event scrapped from its 2026 calendar after LIV New Orleans was dropped in June. Ticket-holders will receive refunds. Indianapolis now serves as the season finale, though its weekend live music acts have also been cut. The BBC reports PIF has spent £3.7bn on LIV since 2022.
