Front Street Pictures acquires Zak Santiago life rights for biopic drama 'Deacon'

Front Street Pictures, backed by Blink49 Studios, has acquired life story rights to Zak Santiago — a Vancouver parish deacon, former boxer, actor and DJ — for a biopic drama series titled "Deacon." Jonathan Lloyd Walker (Van Helsing, House of David) will showrun; John Cassini co-creates and executive produces. The project heads to TIFF's inaugural Content Market with no platform attached.
