ACOTAR television adaptation scrapped; rights revert to Sarah J. Maas

The "A Court of Thorns and Roses" television adaptation in development at 20th Television and Hulu with Ronald D. Moore as showrunner has been scrapped over creative differences, Variety reports. Rights have reverted to author Sarah J. Maas. No active television production remains on the property, whose books have sold over 85 million copies in English across 40 languages.
