Premier League to broadcast referee-player audio during matches for first time

Sky Sports and TNT Sports will carry RefCam audio as near-instant replays — not live, since Ifab laws forbid it. One or two incidents per match round will be broadcast. VAR audio remains off-limits. RefCam audio previously aired days later. The Premier League and Pro Ref are lobbying Ifab to allow live broadcast, but Ifab's chief executive has called live VAR decisions "a chaotic experience."
