Ahmed swaps Hundred for One-Day Cup semi-final as Leicestershire reach final

Rehan Ahmed went from Birmingham Phoenix's Hundred campaign straight into Leicestershire's One-Day Cup semi-final, batting at three and scoring 31 off 36 balls. His 117-run stand with century-maker Hamza Shaikh sent the Foxes through. Coach Alfonso Thomas called him "an absolute superstar in the changing room." Ahmed needed no persuading — he answered his phone with: "I'm playing on Sunday."
