Carly Rae Jepsen and Lena Dunham to make Broadway debuts with "10 Things I Hate About You" musical

Carly Rae Jepsen will write music and lyrics with Ethan Gruska for a Broadway musical adaptation of the 1999 film "10 Things I Hate About You," producer Mike Bosner announced on 17 August 2026 (Deadline). Lena Dunham and Jessica Huang co-write the book — the spoken script framing the songs. Christopher Wheeldon directs. Previews begin 17 August 2027; no theatre is named.
