Kingdom Hearts 4 will not be delayed past late 2027, co-director Nomura says at D23

Kingdom Hearts 4 co-director Tetsuya Nomura stated on stage at D23 on 16 August 2026 that the game will not be delayed from its late 2027 release window. "I want to set the record straight. That is not happening," Nomura said, calling the commitment a "100% thing." Square Enix lists the title for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
