Ark: Survival Evolved Switch servers shut down 31 August 2026

Studio Wildcard will shut down official online servers for both Nintendo Switch versions of Ark: Survival Evolved — the 2018 port and 2022's Ultimate Survivor Edition — on 31 August 2026, per the developer's blog. Over a million players have used the servers since launch. Single-player and unofficial community-run servers remain available. PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions are unaffected.
