Somerset extend Jake Ball contract to end of 2026 season

Somerset seamer Jake Ball, 35, has signed a one-year contract extension keeping him at Taunton until at least the end of the 2026 season. Since arriving from Nottinghamshire in 2024, Ball has taken 97 wickets in 59 appearances across all three formats. He helped Somerset win the 2025 T20 Blast, taking 2 for 39 in the final against Hampshire at Edgbaston.
