Kore-eda's 'Look Back' enters Venice and LFF competition, with GKIDS holding North America

Hirokazu Kore-eda's live-action 'Look Back,' adapting Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga, will compete at Venice — awards announced 12 September — and then at the BFI London Film Festival, running 7–18 October 2026.
