Urushadze's 'Supporting Role' collects Rotterdam FIPRESCI, heads to Sarajevo competition

Ana Urushadze's second feature, the 139-minute Georgian drama 'Supporting Role,' won the FIPRESCI prize and a Special Jury award at Rotterdam in January and the best performance prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. The film, produced by Estonia's Allfilm, has been selected for the main competition at the Sarajevo Film Festival, per Variety (17 August 2026).
