Knight Riders Group, who own Kolkata Knight Riders and teams across four continents, have signalled interest in buying a new Hundred franchise if the ECB expands the tournament beyond eight teams, BBC Sport reports. Expansion is not expected before 2029, when the current media rights cycle ends. The group walked away from Trent Rockets last year, deeming the £40m stake overvalued.
