Saber CEO denied replacing a writer with AI, then said he would have been happy to do so

Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch said on 12 August, "Neither Saber nor Unigine have replaced any writers with AI," after former lead writer Stella Sacco said she was replaced on Rideshare 'Stimulator' by ChatGPT. Karch later told This Week in Video Games he "would have been happy to replace her with AI." He privately apologised to Sacco, who shared the apology.
