British horror 'Snapshot' shot entirely through a pinhole lens, framed in a circle
Joseph Archer's directorial debut 'Snapshot', a low-budget British found-footage horror reimagining the Jack the Ripper murders, was physically shot through a pinhole lens and presented in a circular 1:1 aspect ratio emulating 19th-century photography (Screen Daily, 16 August 2026). The film premiered in competition at the Edinburgh Film Festival and screens next at London's FrightFest. No distribution deal is announced.
