Prime Video sets 28 August global launch for Indian drama 'A.S.I. Babita Singh Reporting!'

Prime Video will release 'A.S.I. Babita Singh Reporting!' globally on 28 August, a day-and-date launch with no theatrical window. The Prime Original stars Nimisha Sajayan as a suspended Assistant Sub-Inspector investigating a childhood friend's murder in a small Indian town. Ambiecka Pandit directs; Sudip Sharma, who produced 'Paatal Lok' (2020–2025), is executive producer. (Deadline, 17 August 2026)
